Dr. TJ Kaloti (DVM)  is a licensed veterinarian specializing in the care of dogs and cats. Graduating in 1996, he moved to Canada in 2004 and established Holly Animal Hospital in 2007. With a deep commitment to animal welfare, Dr. Kaloti has dedicated himself to providing exceptional care and support for pets in need ever since. His extensive experience and compassionate approach ensure that every patient receives top-notch medical attention.

Dr. Singh (DVM)  Dr. P. Singh is a dedicated veterinarian specializing in small animal care with a keen interest in surgery. With a passion for continuous learning, Dr. Singh is committed to staying current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Singh enjoys spending time with a young family, balancing professional growth with family life. His enthusiasm for both his work and personal life makes him a valued member of our team.

Dr. Suresh Basavaraj (DVM)  Dr. Suresh is a skilled veterinarian who graduated in 1991 and practiced in Pennsylvania, USA, for over three years. His professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Suresh enjoys playing tennis and volleyball and loves spending quality time with his wife and son. His dedication to his patients and his enthusiasm for life make him a valuable member of our team. 

Our Team: 

Courtney (RVT) Meet Courtney, our dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! A proud 2016 graduate of the Georgian College Veterinary Technician Program, Courtney jumped right into the Holly Animal Hospital team after school. When she’s not assisting with surgeries or caring for her three cats, you can find her hiking with her dog Rowan or enjoying some well-deserved downtime at the cottage. Her passion for animal care and love for the outdoors make her a fantastic fit for our team!

Justine (RVT) Justine is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and a proud graduate of the Georgian College Veterinary Technician Program, class of 2014. She has been a valued member of the Holly Animal Hospital team since 2015. Outside of caring for your pets, Justine enjoys spending time with her three children. At home, she is the proud pet parent of an awesome Chihuahua and has adopted three cats. Her passion for veterinary care is evident in her mantra: "Being an RVT is my life!"

Katrina (RVT)  Katrina’s journey in animal care began with her graduation from the Animal Care Attendant program at Sheridan College in 2018, followed by her Veterinary Technician diploma from Seneca College. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2023. Katrina has had a passion for animals since she was young, and she’s thrilled to turn that love into a career. Outside the clinic, you’ll find her reading, listening to music, or hanging out with her dog Sabre!  

Caitlin (RVT)  is a Registered Veterinary Technician who we recently welcomed to the team at Holly Animal Hospital. She brings along her experience and enjoys all areas of patient care, especially helping pets feel a bit more relaxed during their visit.  Caitlin is  easygoing and approachable, and  is quickly building connections with the owners and pets she meets at HAH.   She really likes getting to know clients and being part of their pet’s care!

Kallista (VT/VA) Meet Kallista, one of our talented team members with a strong background in veterinary care! A graduate of both the Veterinary Assistant program at Seneca College and the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College, Kallista brings a wealth of knowledge to our clinic. Passionate about travel, she adores exploring new places, with Alaska being her top destination. Kallista also has a collection of meaningful tattoos and shares her home with her beloved cats. We’re excited to have her expertise and enthusiasm on board!

Mike (VA)  Meet Mike, your go-to expert for compassionate pet care! With years of experience across various clinics, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge in animal handling, medical assistance, anesthesia, surgery, and client support to Holly Animal Hospital. Ensuring the well-being of your furry friends with both expertise and empathy, Mike is dedicated to providing top-notch care. We're proud to have Mike as a key member of our team!

Jenn (VT) joined us from another clinic, bringing not just a wealth of experience but also a fresh perspective and great energy! She’s known for her top-notch patient care, eagle-eye attention to detail, and a warm, friendly vibe that instantly puts everyone at ease. Jenn quickly has become an incredible asset to our clinic, and we’re so excited to have her as part of the team!

Emily (AHT/Manager)   Meet Emily, our dedicated Animal Health Technician and Practice Manager! With a rich background in the pet nutrition industry, Emily brings a unique blend of expertise to our clinic. Outside of her professional role, Emily is an avid competitor with her dogs on Some Ruff Competition Dogsports, a top-ranked North American Flyball Team. She also shares her knowledge by instructing dog training classes in and around Barrie and managed the show office at the Carrot & Stick OE Skills Development Horse Show Series. Emily's multifaceted experience and passion for animals make her an invaluable asset to our team!

Stephanie (CSR) Meet Stephanie, our dedicated Client Service Representative who joined us in the fall of 2020. After completing a Media Studies program at the University of Guelph, Stephanie shifted her focus to her passion for animals, bringing a decade of experience as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR. Outside of work, she's a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) who loves CrossFit and hiking with her fur and human kids. Stephanie and her family share their home with Rowdy! She also actively supports her son's racing career spending many weekend cheering him on.  Stephanie's vibrant energy and commitment has made her a wonderful addition to our team!

Robyn (CSR) Meet Robyn, a friendly face at our front desk! After moving to British Columbia and working in the hotel industry, Robyn returned to Ontario to be closer to her family. With prior experience at a Veterinary Hospital in Barrie, she brings a wealth of knowledge to Holly Animal Hospital. 

Kyla (student) completed her final year of high school co-op placement with us at the Holly Animal Hospital.  She is currently in her second year in the Georgian College Veterinary Technician program.  Kyla will be staying on with us to gain experience while she attends school.   She is also an expert baker, who often brings us the most delightful baked goods!
