Our Veterinarians
Dr. TJ Kaloti (DVM)
is a licenced Veterinarian who cares for Dogs and Cats. He graduated in 1996 and moved to Canada in 2004. Dr. Kaloti opened the Hospital in 2007, and has been helping animals in need ever since.

Dr. Suresh Basavaraj (DVM)
Dr. Suresh graduated in 1991 and practiced in Pennsylvania, USA for over three years. His professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery. His favorite sports are tennis and volleyball and he enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
Dr. Jessica Brocos (DVM, Peru)
Jessica joined the team in August 2021. She graduated from veterinary school in Peru in 2012. She most recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Small Animal Medicine at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in Lima. Jessica came to Canada in 2017 to start a Master of Science Program at the WCVM - University of Saskatchewan, moving to Ontario in early 2020. Jessica enjoys family time with her husband and young son. Her family shares their home with "Foggy" their dog who was rescued from the streets of Peru, they have recently welcomed a new puppy "Chaska" to their family.
Our Team:
Justine (RVT) Is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) who is a graduate from Georgian College Veterinary Technician Program in 2014. She has been part of the team at the Holly Animal Hospital since 2015. When not caring for your pets Justine enjoys her three children. She is the pet parent of an awesome Chihuahua and has adopted 3 cats. "Being an RVT is my Life!"
Courtney (RVT) A Registered Veterinary Technician. Courtney is a 2016 graduate of the Georgian College Veterinary Technician Program. She joined the Holly Animal Hospital Team right after school. Courtney enjoys hiking with her dog Rowan, and taking care of her 3 cats.
Kallista (VT/VA) A graduate of the Veterinary Assistant program at Seneca College and a graduate of the Veterinary Technician program at Georgian College. She loves to travel with Alaska being her favorite destination.
Mike (VA) Mike provides compassionate care for your furry friends. Mike comes to Holly Animal Hospital with vast experience in animal handling, medical assistance, anesthesia, surgery and client support. Ensuring the well-being of your pets with expertise and empathy.
Jamie (VT) Jamie is our newest Veterinary Technician joining us in June 2023! A recent grad of the Georgian College Veterinary Technician Program. We are happy to have Jamie as part of our dynamic team and can't wait for you all to meet her!
Emily (AHT/Manager) An Animal Health Technician who has also worked in the pet nutrition industry. Emily competes with her dogs on Some Ruff Competition Dogsports, a top ranked North America Flyball Team. In her spare time she instructs dog training classes in and around Barrie, and manages the show office at the Carrot & Stick OE Skills Development Horse Show Series.
Stephanie (CSR) After completing a Media Studies program at UofG, Stephanie realized that her she wanted to switch her focus to working with animals. She has worked as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR for the last 10 years in surrounding areas joining us in the fall of 2020. She is a CPT and loves CrossFit and hiking with her fur and human kids. They share their home with their dogs Rowdy and Belle (and a dozen chickens!)
Robyn (CSR) After moving to British Columbia and working in the hotel industry, Robyn returned home to Ontario to be closer to her family. Robyn had worked at a Veterinary Hospital in Barrie before joining us at the Holly Animal Hospital. When Robyn isn't greeting you and your pets upon your arrival she also works at a Veterinary Pharmaceutical Company in Aurora.
Ramona is our first high school co-op student that we couldn't let go after her time was up! Ramona will be attending the University of Guelph this fall. We know that she will succeed in her chosen career.
Josh is our 2023 summer student who is pursuing a career in the field of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Guelph. His family pet's have been long time clients of the Holly Animal Hospital.
Kyla completed her final year of high school co-op placement with us at the Holly Animal Hospital. She is interested in continuing in the field of Veterinary Medication in a Vet Tech program. Kyla will be staying on with us to gain experience while she attends school. She is also an expert baker, who often brings us the most delightful baked goods!
